YAKO Dispatch — Privacy Policy

1. About this service
YAKO Dispatch (the “Service”) is a dispatching management app developed by YAYAKO Studio (“we”, “us”), built for on-site service businesses (installation, maintenance, home services) to manage jobs, workers, and payments.
This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. By using the Service, you consent to this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 What you provide
- Account data: name, email, phone number, password (hashed; we cannot see the plain text)
- Company data: company name, business registration number, invitation code
- Job data: customer name, phone, address, work items, amount (entered by you)
2.2 Collected automatically
- Location: GPS coordinates when a worker checks in at a job site (to record check-in location)
- Photos and signatures: completion photos, customer signatures, payment receipts (captured and uploaded by you)
- Usage logs: sign-in time, in-app actions (for troubleshooting)
2.3 We do not collect
- Browsing history, contacts, or SMS
- We do not use ad tracking or analytics SDKs
- We do not sell your data to third parties
3. Customer (third-party) personal data you enter
Customer data in the Service (customer name, phone, address, signature, completion photos) is entered by you (the user/company) for dispatch operations. For such data:
- You are the controller; we are a processor: Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), your company is the collector and controller of this customer data; YAYAKO Studio stores and processes it on your instructions, only as necessary to provide the Service.
- You ensure the lawful basis: You are responsible for having given notice to customers and having a lawful basis or their consent.
- Customers exercising rights: End customers wishing to access, correct, or delete their data should contact the service-providing company (you / the contractor); we will assist that company.
- We do not use customer data beyond providing the Service, nor do we sell it.
4. How we use your information
- Provide dispatching, job management, dashboards, and reports
- Send system notifications (e.g., new jobs, subscription expiry)
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
5. Third-party services
- Supabase (database and file storage) — data is stored in the Tokyo region. Privacy policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
- Apple Sign In / Google Sign In (planned for future authentication)
We do not share your data with other third parties unless:
- Required by law (subpoena, court order)
- You give explicit consent
6. Data security
- HTTPS encryption for all transmissions
- Row Level Security (RLS) on the database — companies’ data are isolated from each other
- Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes; we cannot recover plain text
- Regular backups (provided by Supabase)
If a material data breach occurs, we will notify you in-app and via email within 72 hours.
7. Your rights
Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to:
- Access: view your account data in the in-app Settings page
- Modify: edit your name and phone in Settings → Profile
- Delete: email [email protected] to request account deletion; we will process within 30 days
- Revoke permissions: revoke camera / location permissions in your phone’s system settings at any time
8. Data retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active
- Job data: retained permanently (to preserve historical records)
- After account deletion: all data is purged within 30 days
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) running or working for on-site service businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced in-app and reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
